When we review a company which is new to us, habitually we opt to glance at their website in the hope of gleaning some useful information. To be fair, sometimes we discover a web presence where the company simply chose to toss the job at a web design organisation and left them to it. Generally, this results in an offering to the internet which is buzzword heavy, yet lacking in any real information. On other occasions, it can rapidly become clear the company took a close interest in production of their website, an impeccably written internet presence which is full of technical jargon, yet usually leaving the reader without a clue as to what the company actually does.
And then, there is “Rosebank Technologies”. We managed to confuse them with Rosebank Industries, their website giving literally no information about the company. An extract from their “About” section is shown below, ensuring any effort to try and produce a useful blurb came to a crashing halt. Thankfully common sense reared its ugly head and the penny dropped, we were looking at the wrong Rosebank!

Rosebank Industries have a very nice website, one with a working “About Us” link which reveals they are focussed on acquiring high quality engineering businesses with strong market positions. They aim to Buy the business, Improve the business, then Sell the business. It all sounds quite straightforward, though doubtless a nightmare for any target companies who will invariably suffer staff reductions as the company aims to focus on profitability. While creating an immediate picture of profit improvement, by the time the acid test for success comes around a few years later, the chaos caused by a change of focus toward immediate profit can introduce pain to the bottom line. But by this point, there’s a chance the company will again be on the market, a short term profitability improvement concealing reality. Who knows, maybe Rosebank Industries shall be different.
Currently, their share price is exhibiting some hope for the future. Above just 364 calculates as potentially triggering movement to an initial 381p with our longer term secondary, if exceeded, working out at an impressive 410p. An achievement such as this would be pretty important from a Big Picture stance, representing a new “high” since the catastrophic price adjustment from 2025.
Conversely, our reversal scenario suggests weakness below 338p risks triggering downward travel to an initial 314 with our secondary, if broken, a less likely bottom at 280p.
Our inclination is toward optimism.

SUCCESS above means both FAST & SLOW targets were met. ‘CESS means just the FAST target met and probably the next time it is exceeded, movement to the SLOW target shall commence.

Please remember, all prices are mid-price (halfway between the Buy and Sell). When we refer to a price CLOSING above a specific level, we are viewing the point where we can regard a trend as changing. Otherwise, we are simply speculating on near term trading targets. Our website is www.trendsandtargets.com.
UPDATE. We often give an initial and a secondary price. If the initial is exceeded, we still expect it to fall back but the next time the initial is bettered, the price should continue to the secondary. The converse it true with price drops.
