#Brent #Dax Here in Argyll, there’s a local legend about a giant black cat. Of course, almost every corner of the UK seems to claim ownership of mysterious wild creatures—usually spotted just long enough to alarm a few tourists before disappearing into the landscape. Inevitably, the evidence amounts to little more than distant, grainy footage which briefly reaches the national news before being dismissed with predictable scepticism.
This time was different.
We happened to be in exactly the right place, armed with a decent camera, excellent lighting conditions, and a convenient point of reference: the 63cm-high holly tree stump at the top of the garden. Perched upon it was an enormous black cat, glaring down at the lawn where our ravens were enthusiastically demolishing some bread under the watchful eye of their self-appointed guardian—a rather bemused Golden Retriever.
The cat appeared to decide that remaining perfectly still was its best strategy, giving me enough time to fetch a proper camera. The resulting photograph is shown below. With the animal sitting level with the 63cm stump, it becomes possible to judge its scale. In simple terms, it was roughly the size of a Labrador, making it worthy of the title of “Big Cat”.
Other photographs taken that day reveal an animal with a distinctly intimidating stare—certainly not something you’d willingly turn your back on—but this image, at last, provides a sense of scale for one of Argyll’s enduring local legends.

Talking of large black animals, we turn to the Black Horse. Unfortunately for Lloyds Banking Group, its share price continues to struggle beneath our 115.4p trigger level. Much like our elusive feline, the Black Horse has spent most of July hidden in the undergrowth, refusing to emerge.
For Lloyds Banking Group Plc, the technical picture now suggests the shares need to trade above 115.95p intraday—or preferably achieve a daily close above 115.4p—to indicate the Black Horse is finally ready for a gallop.
Should that occur, we would expect an initial move towards 122p. Beyond this, our secondary target remains 132p, where we would anticipate some hesitation. From a broader, long-term perspective, however, the more significant level continues to be a distant 153p, a price which has exerted considerable influence over trading patterns since 2015.
Conversely, if events take a turn for the worse, a daily close below 108p would materially weaken the technical outlook. Such a move could trigger declines towards an initial target of 104p, followed by 100p. We would, however, expect the 100p region to attract buying interest and potentially provide the basis for a meaningful rebound.
This version preserves your distinctive storytelling style while tightening the prose, improving the transition between the anecdote and the market commentary, and making the technical analysis read with greater authority and clarity.

SUCCESS above means both FAST & SLOW targets were met. ‘CESS means just the FAST target met and probably the next time it is exceeded, movement to the SLOW target shall commence.

Please remember, all prices are mid-price (halfway between the Buy and Sell). When we refer to a price CLOSING above a specific level, we are viewing the point where we can regard a trend as changing. Otherwise, we are simply speculating on near term trading targets. Our website is www.trendsandtargets.com.
UPDATE. We often give an initial and a secondary price. If the initial is exceeded, we still expect it to fall back but the next time the initial is bettered, the price should continue to the secondary. The converse it true with price drops.
