#Gold #DowJones Our low opinion remains of the subsidy junkie “green” energy sector, TRIG with a share price around 75p being the most recent one we’ve been asked to review. The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG), a British investment trust, is dedicated to investments in assets capable of generating electricity from renewable sources. We remain extremely cynical about the entire Green sector, suspecting it remains a bubble of methane gas, not something particularly attractive.
From a near term techie perspective, TRIG requires to trade below 70p to risk promoting reversal down to an initial 67p. Our secondary, should such a level break, works out down at 65p, along with a chance of a rebound.
Our alternate scenario is a bit more interesting.
Above just 76p looks capable of triggering share price recovery to an initial 88p with our secondary, if bettered, calculating at a longer term 95p. In this instance, the initial target is, from our perspective, the more important price level as closure above 88p opens the door for a Big Picture initiative, one which presents a long term 116p as a viable ambition. Perhaps the newest UK Prime Minister has some clever ideas to throw more money at the Green sector, gifting him more Karma points as he mingles insignificantly on the world stage.
However, despite our negative fundamental view of the industry, the technical picture currently suggests TRIG’s share price may have further upside ahead.

SUCCESS above means both FAST & SLOW targets were met. ‘CESS means just the FAST target met and probably the next time it is exceeded, movement to the SLOW target shall commence.

Please remember, all prices are mid-price (halfway between the Buy and Sell). When we refer to a price CLOSING above a specific level, we are viewing the point where we can regard a trend as changing. Otherwise, we are simply speculating on near term trading targets. Our website is www.trendsandtargets.com.
UPDATE. We often give an initial and a secondary price. If the initial is exceeded, we still expect it to fall back but the next time the initial is bettered, the price should continue to the secondary. The converse it true with price drops.
