Because no-one wants to talk about Death, one of our chums keeps providing hilarious mental images, through her job as a Funeral Director (and everything it entails). Here in our bit of Argyll, we’re not overwhelmed by Funeral Home competition, local zombies tending to live rather a long time. Recently, she was “On Call” during the night, aware she could be called out at any time to collect a body, generally from a hospice or care home. Immediately, the image of her husband waking in the morning, shuffling through their lounge which had a few dead people reclined on the furniture, awaiting their final journey to the funeral home and an appointment with a make-up artist.<\/p>\n
Needless to say, this isn’t how things work but the mental image of “working from home” as a Funeral Director was delicious. To be generous, the job must have immense mental strains, knowing that every single person she meets will probably be a customer at some point. I just wish she wouldn’t keep glancing at the calendar on her iPhone, every time we meet on the dog walking trails…<\/p>\n
Despite Ceres<\/b> being firmly ensconced on the “carbon neutral” & Net Zero bus,\u00a0 we are completely fascinated with their engineering as they develop and market proper technology for power generation and hydrogen production. They’ve been passengers on the Net Zero hype for over 25 years, actually developing useful technology for the generation industry and, in the process, becoming a worldwide player with a global footprint.<\/p>\n
However, it would be difficult to ignore the most recent decline in share price value as it has created a “trap” which should be watched for. Below 342p risks triggering reversals to an initial 293p with our secondary, if broken, at 226p and a probable bottom. This sort of secondary target makes a lot of visual sense and thus, despite absolutely nothing suggesting it may be currently possible, in the event anything nasty happens, it makes for a sane entry point if chasing a bounce.<\/p>\n
But the converse feels true for Ceres<\/b> as share price movement exceeding just 442p now calculates with a surge of optimism to an initial 490p with our longer term secondary, if exceeded, working out at a future 525p. This would be important, taking the price into a cycle with a Big Picture 633p ringing the bell of attraction sometime in the distance.<\/p>\n
