Increasingly, we cannot help but wonder if a “Class Action” legal case could be taken against the folk who write headlines on the internet. The MSN homepage, on Microsoft Edge, is especially guilty of wasting time and a glance tonight revealed a couple of crackers; “<\/span>Microscopic alien technology hidden in moon dust<\/b>”\u00a0 <\/span>was a classic to avoid, as was “Surprise Monaco GP format change confirmed in new F1 announcement<\/b>“. A 10 second speed read revealed NO Alien Tech is hidden in moon dust and also, the Monaco Formula1 race shall remain its usual boring processional self. Except they have padded the weekend out with an additional boring race with no overtakes. Of course, there are always the deceptive adverts which the Advertising Standards Authority used to regulate – unless they were on the Internet; “Homeowners PAID to upgrade their windows? Find out how.<\/b>” was one such advert this evening, the discrete question mark giving them a “get out of jail” excuse for an advert where absolutely no home owner, anywhere, shall be paid to upgrade windows.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Clickbait concept is nothing new. It was always the case with the printed media, where it was acknowledged any front page headline attracting a visit to inner pages was a lie, a practice which easily contributed to the death of the genre, the idea of a daily newspaper being important consigned to the minds of folk who work in the industry. Aside – mostly – from the Financial Times, the idea of picking up a free newspaper before boarding a BA flight to London has become an ancient memory.<\/p>\n

Our own attitude toward Clickbait headlines tends be quite reserved. We do our stuff, report the numbers, make a polite cough when some targets are met, and move onto the next thing. It makes for an easier life, rather than joining those who lie for a living in a desperate attempt for Internet views. Our “thing has always been a preference for just being right.<\/p>\n

But in a move which has attracted the attention of trading giants in the league of Buffet, the Mutual Funds, the Hedge Funds, a bloke who lives on Guernsey and another in Barcelona, our recent review of Kier Group has proven extremely successful. The share price, as predicted, hit our trigger and surged upwards, confidently achieving and<\/i><\/b> beating our initial target!<\/p>\n

This opens the door for a reasonable future. The situation NOW<\/b> for Kier to move above 287p as this should apparently trigger a cycle of gains which should hesitate around 320p. If beaten, our longer term secondary now calculates at 360p. While the share price exhibits some amazing long, long, term potentials if this scenario starts to unfold, for now we suspect it shall prove safest to advocate for our moderate target levels,. rather than mention a distant attraction from 1051p,<\/p>\n

And if things intend go wrong, below 214p would hammer a pretty unpleasant nail into their share price future. But we suspect they’d have to announce a new gated community in Rwanda for hard working UK politicians…<\/p>\n
