G4S #GOLD #DOW\u00a0<\/b><\/span> There’s something about #G4S ‘ share price movements we dislike. Essentially, it often doesn’t move in accordance with any logic and reminds vaguely of Carillion, often feeling it’s a negative news report away from disaster.<\/span><\/p>\n

A partial reason for our fear comes from the plunge in 2016 (circled) when it was proven the closing price uptrend since 2003 could be broken. All too often, this sort of nonsense will give 20:20 hindsight of a real warning, when a price plunges for “absolutely no reason – except the one the market was awaiting!” The immediate situation with G4S isn’t ideal with movement now below 228p suggesting coming weakness to an initial 166p. <\/span><\/p>\n

To rub salt onto the wound, the real danger comes if 166p is broken thanks to our secondary calculating at 102p…<\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this isn’t the end of this particular scary story. A bottom target of 102p makes a lot of sense as a bounce point, simply because we cannot calculate anything below such a point. We’ve a vague 3p but when we factor in price manipulation gaps, this 3p could easily be -16p.<\/span><\/p>\n

As always, there’s a ‘however’ and in the case of G4S, it would be reasonable to ask what to expect, if the share now trades above just 249p?<\/span><\/p>\n

We would anticipate travel to an initial 262p with secondary, if bettered, at 277p along with an almost certain stutter. With regard the shares current drop prospects, the price requires close above BLUE (271p at present) to stop us speculating on 102p making a future appearance.<\/span><\/p>\n
