BOOHOO (LSE:BOO) <\/b><\/span>We were rather surprised at the lively day experienced by TERN, so close to our commentary the prior day. This week we’re being lazy, opting to feature shares we’re being asked by readers. It can be assumed we know absolutely nothing about the companies!<\/span><\/p>\n

When we last reviewed Boohoo 9 months ago, we’d expected some reversals and the share lived down to our expectations. This time, we’re not quite as miserable regarding its future potentials, rather the opposite except for a couple of small details.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regular readers will be aware of our distain for “spikes at the open” as generally they indicate some price movement coming in the opposite direction to the spike. Boohoo was manipulated up to 227p at the open on the 12th June but reversed to 206p within 30 minutes, thus “paying” for the spike upward in full. Generally a reversal will occur within a few weeks, very rarely within a few minutes!<\/span><\/p>\n

What does it mean?<\/span><\/p>\n

The movement has created an interesting scenario, where movement now above 227p should prove capable of growth to an initial 242p. What surprises us is the secondary calculation as it appears closure above 242p should bring further growth to 290p. This bothers us a little, suggesting the prior highs in the 260’s shall be exceeded with ease. Generally, real life intrudes, if only for the folk who previously bought at 260p opting to Bail at Break Even. This selling pressure alone is liable to provoke a bit of a stumble.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the computer says 290p…<\/span><\/p>\n

To even indicate a slowdown of ambitions, the price needs fall below 206p but to be realistic, the share needs devalue below RED at 150p currently before panic is advised.<\/span><\/p>\n
