Capital & Counties Properties (CAPC #US500 #NK225 ) <\/b><\/span> Hopefully this lots share price potentials do not prove a harbinger for the future of property prices in London. Perhaps, of course, it’s all the Brexit scare stores having an effect, perhaps it’s a genuine loss of faith in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The immediate problem with this lot is fairly tame. It appears movement now below 242 risks driving the price back to 230p. At this point, it’s worth reviewing the chart to figure out the implications of such a movement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly, the share price has already broken the very well defined uptrend since 2010, shown in red.\u00a0 While weakness to 230p may seem fairly innocuous, it takes the price firmly below the trading range established since 2016. As a result, we suspect 230p shall be broken, opening the door for continued reversal to 200p.<\/span><\/p>\n

If only for psychological reasons, some sort of real bounce would be expected at the 200p level, especially as the historical visuals seem to attach some importance to such a point. We have our doubts as to whether any bounce shall be long lived, due to any break of the 200p level risking a future drop to a foundation at 155p. Below such a point and we would need run the numbers again.<\/span><\/p>\n

To get out of trouble, the price requires regain RED, presently at 265p, as this signals the potential of some recovery to 288p and a challenge of the BLUE downtrend since 2015. Only with closure above 288p does real hope become apparent as this calculates with the potential of an initial game changing 340p.<\/span><\/p>\n

For now, we fear it intends 155p!<\/span><\/p>\n
