Trends and Targets for 3/07/2018

#GREATLAND (LSE:GGP) Recent price movements with this lot have been reflected in a number of plaintive emails, asking our opinion on where it’s going. The answer is proving a bit of a puzzle to ascertain but there is one signal we’re quite keen on witnessing.

Currently the share is trading around 1.97p mid price and from our perspective, it needs actually close a session above 2.33p before we dare assume price attractions are coming from the period from 2011. This is actually a little irritating in many respects as already, the share has ticked just about every box to reach 2.8p, its only restraint proving to be the downtrend which dates to 2011.

We are starting to develop a sneaking notion other people are capable of drawing straight lines!

However, given the visual clarity which has developed against BLUE, it would be fair to believe a future break above this trend should indeed generate an initial 2.8 with secondary, if bettered, at 3.5p.

There is something distinctly fishy about our 2.33p notion. This is an arithmetical calculation which very surprisingly is almost exactly the point of the long term BLUE downtrend at present. The number is quite critical for another reason, simply due to if it being bettered an entirely new set of calculations becomes necessary.

If looking for danger, RED along the bottom of the chart tells its own story. Below 0.6p and the price risks melting away. For now though, we’re showing a requirement for the price of GOLD to experience a near term bounce, so perhaps hope is allowed.

SUCCESS above means both FAST & SLOW targets were met. ‘CESS means just the FAST target met and probably the next time it is exceeded, movement to the SLOW target shall commence.

Our commentary is in two sections. Immediately below are today’s updated comments. If our commentary remains valid, the share can be found in the bottom section which has a RED heading. Hopefully, this will mean you no longer need to flip back through previous reports. HYPERLINKS DISABLED IN THIS VERSION

Please remember, all prices are mid-price (halfway between the Buy and Sell). When we refer to a price CLOSING above a specific level, we are viewing the point where we can regard a trend as changing. Otherwise, we are simply speculating on near term trading targets. Our website is www.trendsandtargets.com.

UPDATE. We often give an initial and a secondary price. If the initial is exceeded, we still expect it to fall back but the next time the initial is bettered, the price should continue to the secondary. The converse it true with price drops.
