Trends and Targets for 28/06/2018

ANGLO ASIAN (LSE:AAZ) This lot managed perform pretty exactly as we’d expected, following our analysis last October. Unfortunately, the share price – while achieving our 52p – did not actually close a session beyond 52p, leaving future potentials hanging for the present.

We’re currently able to calculate CLOSURE above 52p as being capable of provoking growth to an initial 64p with secondary, if bettered, a rather more impressive longer term 99p. As the share is presently trading around the 42p mark, it appears to be a waiting game with the price requiring break RED (currently 26p) to trash the calculations. In common with many other shares, it’s playing with fire at the moment.

The immediate situation risks weakness below 41p allowing the share price to reverse to a non threatening 37p. The danger comes should 37p break as it allows for the share to face future travel down to 28p, making the RED uptrend a risky proposition.

For now, aside from a suspicion we shall see 37p make a guest appearance, it’s not too alarming and hopefully 37p proves capable of provoking a proper bounce, once again challenging the 52p level.

SUCCESS above means both FAST & SLOW targets were met. ‘CESS means just the FAST target met and probably the next time it is exceeded, movement to the SLOW target shall commence.

Our commentary is in two sections. Immediately below are today’s updated comments. If our commentary remains valid, the share can be found in the bottom section which has a RED heading. Hopefully, this will mean you no longer need to flip back through previous reports. HYPERLINKS DISABLED IN THIS VERSION

Please remember, all prices are mid-price (halfway between the Buy and Sell). When we refer to a price CLOSING above a specific level, we are viewing the point where we can regard a trend as changing. Otherwise, we are simply speculating on near term trading targets. Our website is www.trendsandtargets.com.

UPDATE. We often give an initial and a secondary price. If the initial is exceeded, we still expect it to fall back but the next time the initial is bettered, the price should continue to the secondary. The converse it true with price drops.
